1992. Thinking that I might be ready for another band, I took off in a totally different direction, with my fifth band Palomino, and country music. I had always been a fan, and played a certain amount of, country music. But this was a full fledged "we're calling ourselves country" band. I've been very blessed in these impulsive, half-baked schemes, and once again, found myself leading a popular and successful group. Playing this new style with Palomino, in fact, opened up many opportunities, and a whole new audience for me. Although, I think it left some of my existing fans a little baffled.
